President Wanted: Apply Within

Currently there are serious fires burning in every corner of the globe. Regimes are being toppled and massive protests are cropping up everywhere we look. The price of oil and food is skyrocketing and our country is in the worst economic situation since the Great Depression.


These are dire times and America is in dire need of a real leader. When all is calm people don't see the need for a President with real leadership skills. It's not until things go south do you appreciate a leader who can step up, grab the reigns and not only tackle the problem, but solve the problem.

Well America, I'm here to tell you that your President isn't that guy!

While all the other leaders of the free world are monitoring the global arena and at least putting on a facade of giving a rats ass, Obama spent his day yesterday addressing gay marriage. Excuse me, but WTF! Someone needs to tell this guy that there is a time and a place for things. I never thought I would live to see the day that any President would make Carter look good, but I have.

So what should a President do when the world around him is falling apart? Why have a party of course.

Tonight the Obamas will be hosting a Motown tribute concert at the White House to celebrate Black History month.

Now I'm sure that this event was planned six months ago and well ahead of the events that are playing out around the globe, but come on. The last thing the American people and the rest of the world want to see right now is our leader going about his normal carefree routine as if everything is fine in the world. At least he could pretend to care so as to make our country look better in the eyes of the world. I don't think that is asking to much of the man.
