What New 2012 Race Poll Reveals For Trump

Billionaire Donald Trump hinted at the favorable results of an ongoing Newsmax poll during an appearance on Fox News Channe1’s “Fox & Friends” on Monday morning.

Trump now has his own spot on the Fox show, appearing once a week with a segment called “Monday Mornings with Trump.”

The real estate tycoon, who is considering a run for president as a Republican in 2012, was asked about reports that veteran political adviser Roger Stone was handling his campaign.

“Roger’s been very nice,” Trump responded. “He thinks I’m doing fantastically. A Newsmax poll said I’m winning.”

But he added that Stone is not involved in the campaign.

Trump was referring to early results of a Newsmax poll asking for respondents’ preference among 10 potential GOP presidential candidates for 2012, and their choice in a Trump-Barack Obama race.

The Newsmax poll will close shortly and the results will be released in the coming days.
