I hope the American people are paying close attention to the what is going on around the globe recently. After 21 years of war in the Middle East it looks like The United States is setting the stage for the next conflict. It was announced yesterday that the CVN 70 Carl Vinson battle group entered the Arabian Sea off the Straits of Hormuz joining the CVN 74 John Stennis battle group which has been in the area for the past two months.

Now riddle me this!

Rods Melting in 3 Japan Nuclear Reactors, Official Says, and Winds Headed East

SOMA, Japan — The rods seem to be melting in three earthquake-rocked and tsunami-ravaged nuclear reactors, a Japanese official says.

The official made the comment Monday hours after water levels dropped precipitously Monday inside a stricken Japanese nuclear reactor. The plunge in the cooling water left the rods exposed twice and increased the threat of a meltdown, which would increase releasing radiation into the air.

Radioactive contamination found on 17 U.S. Navy crewmembers in Japan

Seventeen U.S. Navy crew members have been contaminated with low-levels of radiation during disaster relief missions in Japan, military officials said Monday.

The radioactivity was detected when the service members returned to the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan aboard three helicopters.
